Cub Scout Pack 42, based in Homer, IL, is part of the Prairielands Council.  It offers many exciting activities and events happening each month in scouting.

Your son will build his character, be trained in the responsibilities of citizenship, and develop physical fitness.

As a scout, your child will get to:

• Earn patches, belt loops, and pins by completing electives.
• Participate in community events, such as parades.
• Go camping, swimming, and learn how to shoot a bow and arrow, BB gun, and sling shot at Camp Drake.
• Run a car of his own creation at the pinewood derby.
• Sell popcorn and earn prizes.
• Much, much more.
